Dance Party

Last night, we had our dance party for the end of the season dance classes. All of the people from all of the different classes that our instructor teaches got together for a big dance party. The instructor taught some steps from some basic dances and then we had time to dance each dance. We learned the Bolera (sp?), west coast swing, and waltz. He played only one tango song for us to dance to. In the video, I am dancing (poorly) the tango with one of the guys from the class. You can occasionally see the instructor come in dancing with his partner. I was hoping to get some video of me dancing with the instructor so you could see how much I've learned. I dance very well with the instructor because he is the best leader. the person that I'm dancing with in the video is not as good of a leader as the instructor(but he's still good). On a side note...after the dance, i had a few people over for drinks, among them was a guy from Nigeria and a girl from Iran. I enjoy living in a place with such diversity.

I am hoping to take a different class next season. I am even hoping to get Avery to take a class with me. I am trying to convince him that every girl likes a guy that can dance.
