This course is small, but well laid out course by the Calumet River. We lost three frisbees in the river on this day, but the sun was shining, the dogs were romping, we were smiling, and life was good. We've also played the course on the Purdue Calumet University campus.

Read the paper
I thought reading the paper would give me some insight into becoming a part of a new community so I subscribed to the sunday paper when I moved here. Every other week I had delivery issues and when I did get it, it was filled with crap. We get a free weekly mailing with community events in it and my facebook is constantly filled with community stuff. The paper became a hassle and waste of money so I dropped the subscription after a month.

Make soap with Erin
Making soap is a process. And apparently a bit dangerous too! Good thing I had my friend Erin to show me the ropes.
We collected plants and lichen from the tundra to add exfoliating qualities to our soap.
Now that I'm using the soap, I'm really glad we put the scratchy stuff in there! It's the best part!
