37 Candles
You know all the extra wax left over after a candle has burned down to the wick? Well, I always save it and then once a year or so I melt it all down and make new candles. For less than $5 at a crafts store you can buy wicks and sinkers. I just use an old pan and melt the wax down in the oven. I made 37 candles today! Candles are pretty pricey these days, so I'm saving money and recycling.
I'm a high school science teacher currently living my dream of teaching out in bush Alaska. I'm always up for new adventures and like to travel anywhere and everywhere. This blog is a way to keep in touch with friends and family, journal about life, and share my experiences with the world.
