Visit the Indiana Sand Dunes

Well, mostly I visited the beaches at the sand dunes and not so much the dunes themselves, but it was still a good time!

Day Hike

We started in the morning on this hike up Harney Peak, the tallest peak east of the Rocky Mountains. The hike was 7 miles to a elevation of 7,242ft.  We ended with a refreshing dip in the lake at the bottom where we started.

Fourth of July with Kassia

Fourth of july has been spent with Kassia for so many years now I cant even remember.  It's always a good time!

Obviously pictures to go with this post have to be chosen carefully.  I spent the day having a girls day out with these lovely ladies and we all endured the pain of preparing for beach season!

Afterward I had a big margarita to dull the pain!

Kentucky Derby Party

I've never really been into horse racing, but this seemed like it had a lot of potential for fun!

We made hats!

We dressed up!

We laughed over ice cubes races!

We ate and drank!

And we watched the bookie take all our money!!!

Get Baptized

Before I left Bethel, I wanted to get baptized at the church that I called home.  The Bethel Evangelical Covenant Church is the only church that I ever really enjoyed attending.  I grew so much in my faith here amongst these people where I felt welcome and accepted, like family.

Pay off my house

I would have rather sold it, but you cant have everything you want.  The house is PAID OFF!  Now if only the taxes and insurance payments went away too.
